Amy Martin Pet Portrait Artist
Welcome!
My name is Amy, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. You can often see me at parties hanging out with the host’s pet rather than mingling with the crowd.
One day, I thought to myself, “How can I best show my appreciation for these amazing creatures?” Well, I had this art skill waiting around for something to do, so I started there.
I’ve been creating art all through my school years, mainly focusing on portraits. I have experience in a number of mediums—from charcoal and acrylic paint, to digital art and gouache.
Now, when my cat, Loki, isn’t lovingly wreaking havoc to get my attention, I get to create art of other people’s adorable pets! What’s more fun than that?
Customer Reviews
"Amy perfectly captured not only the colors of my cat’s coat, but also her personality from a single image and description. Will definitely be ordering more pieces soon."

"This was the perfect way to commemorate my dog after he passed away . . . This truly captures his personality. Thank you, Amy!"

FAQ
-
Depending on the waitlist, it usually takes me over the course of two weeks to finish a piece once I’ve started. Before moving forward, I’ll give an estimate of when the portrait should be completed.
If you want a physical printed portrait, it should take 2–4 business days for the printer to produce and ship it.
-
My prices are based on the materials and time dedicated to the portrait, in addition to printing and shipping costs.
-
Of course! You can send a picture of the two (or more) pets together, or individual pictures of the pets works too.
This will lead to an increase in cost, which can be found in Pricing above.

A good reference photo has the following qualities:
High resolution
No blur
Good framing—your pet should take up a good portion of the photo, or enough where the details are clear
Good lighting—I recommend photos taken with either natural light or in a well-lit room
Includes the preferred pose you want in the finished portrait. Send one that shows off your pet’s personality!
